A car, a hotel, and an adventure—all in one vehicle. All-inclusive — insurance, unlimited mileage, taxes — for a road trip completely self-sufficient, as expected, upon returning.
In Costa Rica, the scenery changes every 50 km. A volcano in the morning, a beach in the afternoon, and a rainforest in the evening. No other option offers this level of spontaneity quite like a 4x4 campervan.
No 11 a.m. checkout. No set itinerary. If you see a trail that catches your eye, take it. If you come across a deserted beach, spend the night there. The self-drive trend Hiking in Costa Rica just keeps getting more popular—and for one simple reason: it’s the only way to truly experience the country at your own pace, without a middleman.
Our fleet of Fully equipped 4x4s It's designed for just that: a fully equipped kitchen, bedding, a shower, unlimited mileage, insurance included, taxes included. You pick up the van at the airport, stock the fridge, and hit the road. The country is yours to explore.

«My girlfriend and I rented the Adventure for two weeks. The Jimny can go anywhere, the rooftop tent is super comfortable, and the Toucan team was available to speak French. We spent three nights sleeping on a deserted beach near Nosara. It was unforgettable.»
«With two teenagers, we went with the Xtrem. The kids loved sleeping in the rooftop tent, and we had the pickup truck for our gear. The briefing when we picked it up was very thorough, and the comprehensive insurance gave us peace of mind.»
«We rented the Comfort H1 for 18 days. The queen-size bed inside made all the difference for us as a couple—rain or shine, we stayed dry. The long-term rental option is great. And the team helped us find one-night stays at hotels when we wanted to treat ourselves.»
