About Sayulita

The Magical Town surfing and slow living

Sayulita, a small Huichol fishing village that became a cult destination for Californian surfers in the 1970s. Today Magical Town since 2015, it's the epicenter of the Pacific slow lifestyle Multicolor picado paper flags in alleyways, brightly colored houses, international food scene, very active digital nomad community.

Three beaches structure life: Sayulita Beach (central, beginner surfing), Beach of the Dead (sound, calmer, swimming) and Patzcuarito Beach (Northern, wild). 45 minutes from Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita remains preserved from mass tourism thanks to its size (6,000 inhabitants) and its authentic village atmosphere.

Our on-site tip: a minimum of 3 nights in Sayulita to soak up the atmosphere. And go there IN COMBINATION with Puerto Vallarta – one is not the other, both are essential.
